એજી અનત જુગ અમને વહી ગયા, રૂપ ધરતા આવીયા

એજી સુનકાલ માંહે સામી અનત ચલત્ર કીધા નીરીંજન રૂપે રમીયા

એજી સોલ થડ માંહે સામી તમે રમત કરી, તેના શું કરૂં વખાણ

તે દીનની વીનતી અમ તણી સામી તમે ધરજો કાન.. ..મહેર..૪

એજી ધંધુકાર માંહે નીરીંજન રૂપે, સામી તમે ધ્યાનજ ધરીયા;

જેણે જુમલે તમને જાણીયા, તે મુનીવરને તમે વરીયા.. ..મહેર..પ

એજી કલપમાંહે કરોડીયું તારીયું, અલખ આપે લખાયા;

જખ, મેઘ, કીનર, તેત્રીસ, સુધા કરી તમને ધીયાયા.. ..મહેર..૬

એજી જુગ જુગની હું આશવંતી છું, નીકાહ કીધી નાંય,

હવે અમે થયા ભર જોબનમાં, લજા રાખો ત્રીભોવરના રાય.. ..મહેર..૭

એજી હેલ ભરી સામી અમે આવીયા, સામી અમારી હેલ ઉતારો;

રખે પાછી હેલ ફેરવો, બક્ષો દોશ હમારા.. ..મહેર..૮

એજી છેડો નાંખીને સાચી ઢાંકજો, અવગુણુ અમ તણા આય;

અમે તે અબળા આધીન છું, લજા તમારી હેા રાય.. ..મહેર..૯

એજી સામી હું આશવંતી અનત જુગ તણી, સુણો હેા ત્રીભોવર રાય;

ભર જોબન મારો આવીયો, હવે અમે રહેસું લજાઇ.. ..મહેર..૧૦

In the beginning there was God without attributes,

He who was without qualities and without form.

You are our (true) origin,

Although our forms have become separate.. ..1

This weak creature is at Your mercy; O Beloved! Have pity on us; we are indeed at Your mercy.. ..refrain

Countless ages have gone by

And we have continued to change form.

We have been petitioning (You) for ages;

O Lord, let us be reunited.. ..2

Lord, in the vacuum of nothingness,

You gave rise to infinite astonishing acts;

In the form of the unseen, You played.

You, ancient Yogi, why this delay?

O Lord, how long can I remain like this? ..3

In the sixteen cosmological states, O Lord,

You played and played;

How can I praise this enough?

Since that very day I have been petitioning;

Lord, at least now pay heed to me.. ..4

In the void You were in the unseen form;

Lord, You were in contemplation.

Whosoever in that congregation recognised You,

Him You will make return.. ..5

Throughout the cyclical epochs, You have granted Salvation to hundreds of thousands

The Undescribable became perceivable.

Jakh, megh, and thirty-three kinar,

All reaching absolute liberation through their worship of You.. ..6

Age upon age I have been waiting anxiously,

But our nikah has not taken place!

Now I am in the full bloom of youth.

O Ruler of the three worlds, preserve my honour.. ..7

Having filled my water pots,

I have come before You, Lord.

Lord, lower my water pots, Lest my water pots be rejected.

Forgive my sins… ..8

Lord, cover me with a veil and watch over me,

For I have come (to You as) a sinner.

I am but a weak and humble creature.

O Ruler, it is Your honour (that is at stake)! ..9

I have waited in hope for endless ages,

For countless ages I have been waiting with hope;

The bloom of youth is upon me,
