એજી શાહના ખત આયા વીરા જંપુદીપ માંહે,

કાંઇ લાવ્યા લાવ્યા ચંદન વીર.. ..૧

એજી શાહના ખત વાંચીયા પીર ઇંદ્ર ઇમામદીન,

આજ મારે હયડે હરખ ન માય.. ..૨

એજી પાંખડીયા જો હોવે તો શાહને જાઈ મીલું,

શું કરૂં મારો પીંઢાડો ન હાથ.. ..૩

એજી કંધોંધર હોવે તો કંધ ઉડવે,

એવા જોઈ જોઈ કરૂં છું વીચાર.. ..૪

એજી ફુલડાં વીણાવો વીરા સતીયું તણા,

જેને નથી વાયા કલજુગના વાય.. ..૫

એજી રાહીને દરગાહી મીલી દરગે સોંઢીયા,

તે તો ચાલીયા આપણે શાહને ફરમાન.. ..૬

એજી રતનાગર ગાજે અતી ડરામણાં,

તીયાં કાયરીયા કાંઇ છાંડેરે પ્રાણ.. ..૭

એજી વાઘ ને સીંહડા રાહીયુંના વોળામણા,

તે છે આપણા શાહને પીછાણ.. ..૮

એજી ઉંચા ઉંચા ડુંગર દીસેરે ડરામણા,

તીયાં વાય ટાઢા હેમાજલના વાય ..૯

એજી રાહીને દરગાહી મીલી દરગે પોહોતા,

જાઇ પોતા કહેક નગરી માંહે.. ..૧૦

એજી કહેક નગરી દીશે અતી રળીયામણી,

તીયાં બેઠા આપણા ત્રીભોવર શામ. ..૧૧

એજી થાળ ભરાવો વીરા સગ મોતીયે,

વધાવો આપણા ત્રીભોવર શામ.. ..૧૨

એજી પીર ઇંદ્ર ઇમામદીન આશા મુખે બોલીયા વીનંતી,

શામી ગતના ગુનાહ બક્ષ કરોજી.. ..૧૩

The Shah's writ has arrived in Hindustan, O Brave ones, it has journeyed here through Chandanvir.. ..1

The Shah's writ was read by the learned Imamshah; O how my heart is overflowing with excitement.. ..2

O that I had wings; I would fly away to my Beloved. But what can I do? My body is not under my command.. ..3

If my shoulders were webbed with wings, they would indeed fly. These, are the only thoughts I have as I look around.. ..4

Gather flowers, O dear ones! -- from those pure ones who are chaste from the temptations of Kaliyuga.. ..5

The pilgrims and courtiers together seek out His court, doing so while keeping within the Shah's decrees.. ..6

The ocean horrifically roars. There many quitters give up those of the shadow.. ..7

Tigers and lions bid the pilgrims farewell, for they have now gained the recognition of the Shah.. ..8

The towering mountains are terrifying to me. Icily shivering are the winds of the Himalayas.. ..9

The pilgrims and courtiers have now reached His shrine. Arriving at the city of Kahak.. ..10

The city of Kahak is breathtakingly magnificent. The Sustainer of three worlds; Shyam, has there ascended the throne.. ..11

O dear ones, fill platters with gleaming pearls. Shower (these) upon Shyam; the Sustainer of three worlds.. ..12

From the hopeful lips of The learned Imamshah, is the lamentation: "O Shyam! Forgive the sins of the present congregation (gat)!" ..13

Aaj maare haide harakh na maay.. ..2

Eji Paa(n)khadiya jo hove to Shahne jaai milu(n)

Shu(n) karu(n) maaro peendhado na haath.. ..3

Eji Kandhodhar hove to kandh udve

Eva joi joi karu(n) chhu(n) vichaar.. ..4

Eji Foolda viñaavo vira satiyu(n) taña

Jene nathi vaaya kaljoogna vaay.. ..5

Eji Raahi ne dargaahi mili darge sondhiya

Te to chaaliya aapñe Shahne farmaan.. ..6

Eji Ratnaagar gaaje ati daraamña

Tiyaa(n) kaayariya kaa(n)i chhaa(n)de re praañ.. ..7

Eji Vaagh ne si(n)hda raahiyuna volaamaña

Te chhe aapña Shahne pichhaañ.. ..8

Eji Uncha uncha doongar disere daraamña

Tiyaa(n) vaay taadha hemaajalna vaay ..9

Jaai pota Kahek nagri maa(n)he.. ..10

Eji Kahek nagri dishe ati raliyaamñi

Tiyaa(n) betha aapña tribhovar Shaam. ..11

Eji Thaal bharaavo vira sag motiye

Vadhaavo aapña tribhovar Shaam.. ..12
