When we charge prayers for healing

In the name of seed-sowing

Are we acting as preachers or witch doctors

Jesus Christ never charged for healing

He never performed any demonic rituals for power

They've disguised themselves as men of God

And they now hide in churches

There, they're practicing divination freely

Calling it the manifestation of God's power

But the bottom line is that they're greedy

They aim to steal money from their followers

Therefore, they charge for their miracles

They demand you give them what they call "seed money,"

Before they can pray for you

Without getting their money first

They won't lay their hands on you

But according to Hebrews 1

Long ago, at many times and in many ways,

God spoke to our fathers by the prophets.

But in these last days, he has spoken to us by his Son

Thus, God's Word is ultimate and final

We don't need the self-acclaimed prophets

To know God's will for our lives

When we charge prayers for healing

Witch doctors give their patients charms

Likewise, pretending to be God's messengers

False prophets give their subjects several objects

Like bracelets, oil, or salt

They claim these articles have some power

Because they laid hands on them

Again, because they're greedy, they charge for prayers

Indeed, every witch doctor's charm isn't' for free

These shamans hiding in the Church

Claim to possess supernatural abilities

Like predicting the future

And power to curse whoever opposes them

Clearly, they use fear to manipulate

And to control their followers

(But we know from Scripture)

They're able to prophesy through divination

When making their false prophecies

They expect no hint of any opposition

They don't want anyone to question

The validity of their predictions

"Yes, man of God,"

Is the only response they love to hear

Unfortunately, most of us seem to be impressed

By their false miracles and prophecies

Indeed, we're perishing for lack of knowledge of God's Word

Even worse, our curiosity with false signs and wonders

Exposes the poor condition of our hearts

It reveals that we're fascinated by acts of divination

But seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness

And all these things shall be added to you

I'm convinced that God's Word is sufficient

It requires no supplements like salt, bracelets

Prophecy or anointing water

I'm convinced that with God's Word

The man of God is complete

Equipped for every good work

In light of 2 Timothy 3:16-17

I'm convinced that my convictions are biblical

By grace, every child of God can approach the Father boldly

Casting all anxieties on him for he cares for us

Since Jesus Christ is our advocate before the Father

We need no human mediator to represent us before God

Doing so makes us susceptible to all kinds of deceit

We're led astray with vain words in the name of prophecy

God's will for our lives has been revealed in the Bible

Say no to any acts of divination
