El Shaddai, the Lord Almighty

In the beginning, Yahweh revealed his power

Through the creation of the heavens and the earth from nothing

The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Last,

Spoke and things came to be

The earth is his footstool

He's God the Creator

Greater than Satan and man, mere creatures

The Lord does all that he pleases

He takes no counsel from anyone

He has no team of advisors

In him, all things hold together

He's sustaining the universe

Without which the earth would swallow us alive

The Lord is at this very moment pumping breath into our lungs

If he ceased from doing it, he would still be justified

None would accuse him of wrongdoing

Behold, he tenderly cares for his children

He shows us compassion as our Father

Nothing can happen to us without the will of God

Nothing can snatch from us the eternal life El Shaddai freely offered us

El Shaddai, the Lord Almighty

In the beginning, everything was very good

Adam and Eve were blameless, without sin

For God created them holy

Everything changed until Satan came

And tempted them to eat of the tree God forbade them

Adam ate and they fell

Satan must've crowned himself victorious

However, before the foundation of the world

Yahweh had the plan of redemption already in place

He would send the seed of the woman to die for his people

Christ is the fulfillment of the seed that was promised

His conception happened with no involvement from any male figure

He was born of the virgin by the power of the Holy Spirit

His mission was to crush the head of Satan, the old serpent

And to redeem his children from the belly of that serpent

Thus, on the cross of Calvary

Christ died in place of his wayward children

In his death, he conquered both the power of Satan and death

The cross is proof that El Shaddai holds all power

El Shaddai, the Lord Almighty

It's both crazy and scary

When a weaker vessel thinks they can defeat a big giant

How silly when an underdog dares to challenge a champion

Such absurdity makes one burst into laughter

Equally, the Abba Father laughs when the kings of the earth

Plot and take counsel together against him

He laughs when they foolishly think they can overthrow Jesus

Adonai laughs at their senseless plans

He then holds them in derision

He speaks to them in his wrath and terrifies them in his fury

For no one can subvert the throne of Jesus Christ

His kingdom is established forever

So, worship him

Or else you'll face terrible consequences

El Shaddai will pour out his wrath upon you in hell

You'd better worship him

El Shaddai doesn't share his glory with anyone

All greatness, power, glory, and majesty belong to him

His glory is his alone

Hence, we can never accuse him of being greedy with it

It's his glory anyway
