Yahweh revealed His power right in the beginning

Through His creation of the heavens and the earth from nothing

As the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Last

He only spoke and things came to be

The whole earth is His footstool

He's God the Creator

Greater than Satan and man, these are mere creatures

The Lord does all that He pleases

He takes no counsel from anyone; He has no board of advisors

In Him all things hold together

He's sustaining the universe, otherwise the earth would've swallowed us alive

He's pumping air into our lungs

And if He stopped no one could accuse Him of anything

Behold, He tenderly cares for His sheep

He shows us compassion as our Father

Nothing can befall us without God permitting it

In the beginning everything was good

God created Adam and Eve without sin

Everything changes when Satan came in

He tempted them to eat of the tree God forbid them

Alas! They disobeyed, Adam ate and they fell

Seeing this, Satan must've been elated

Perhaps he thought there was no hope left for mankind

But he was wrong; Yahweh already had in place the plan of redemption

He would send the seed of the woman to die for His people

Christ is the fulfillment of that promised seed

This is because He was born with no male involvement

His conception was by the operation of the Holy Spirit

Christ came to crush the head of the serpent of old

His purpose was to deliver His children from the belly of the serpent

Thus, on the cross of Calvary He died in place of His wayward children

Through His death He conquered both the power of Satan and death

Certainly the cross is proof that El Shaddai holds all power

It's shocking when a weakling provokes a strongman

So surprising when an underdog dares to fight a champion

It sounds like joke, sometimes it leaves you laughing

Likewise, the Abba Father laughs when he sees the kings of the earth

Plotting and taking counsel together against Him and Jesus

Hoping they can overthrow God

Adonai sees this and laughs at their senseless plans

He holds them in derision

He then speaks to them in His wrath and terrifies them in His fury

No matter what, no one can subvert the throne of Jesus Christ

It's been established forever

Hence, serve the Lord with reverence

Rebelling against Him is self-deception

You can't hide from Him
