Have you ever heard that witchcraft is real

Have you heard that dreaming of being chased or eating meat

Then someone is witching you

Does this sound familiar, or am I just making it up

Honestly, we have an issue here that needs to be addressed

The matter at hand demands that we seek the truth

So that Satan doesn't deceive us for lack of knowledge

First, let's tackle the question of origin

What's the source of these claims

Do they come from a certain book

If so, who's the author, where's he from

Well, no matter how hard we research on this topic

In the end, we'll conclude that most of these stories are hearsay

They are simply folktales and myths

That have simply been passed down orally

From one generation to another

Come to think of it, don't witches eat vegetables

Is there no witching because the dream

Is about eating pumpkin leaves or cabbage

As Christians, folktales and myths aren't our guide

We don't base our actions on dreams

The only rule that directs us is the Word of God

Contained both in the Old Testament and the New Testament

God's Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path

It's the foundation of our faith

Folktales and myths on witchcraft will never be our guide

Moreover, El Shaddai is always with us

When God made covenants with his people

An animal would be sacrificed

Cut in half as the sign of that covenant

This pointed forward to the death of Christ

And to his blood yet to be shed on the cross

Therefore, there's nothing inherently wrong

With meat or dreaming of eating it

Of course, Scripture affirms that witchcraft is real

Nonetheless, it doesn't give us information about

How it's actually practiced

Thus, it's very weird to see some preachers

Having an unhealthy interest in witchcraft

It's odd that they waste time detailing how witchcraft is done

Where do they get their data from

And does that information edify the Church

Their unscriptural stories only breed fear in the hearts of men

Whereas the faithful preaching of Scripture brings forth faith in God

The Holy Spirit brings an atmosphere of power in Yahweh and not fear

He assures us that the Lord is with us

For God is always present with us through the power of the Holy Spirit

Furthermore, everything sufficient for our salvation

Has been revealed in the Bible

The Bible is not a book on the practices of witchcraft

Its goal isn't to equip us on how to identify witches or warlocks

Instead, Scripture's primary focus is making Christ known to us

Showing us his will for our lives

Moreover, the Lord watches over us even when we're asleep

He never slumbers nor sleeps

He's present with us when having either good or bad dreams

Hence, child of God, fear not
