Greater is Jesus living inside our hearts

How unfortunate when someone lacks knowledge

When ignorant of his freedom and rights

A free man lives as a slave in bondage

When ignorant of your freedom in Christ

Freely offered to you by grace

You feel trapped as if you're in a cage

Oh, that you would know the Scriptures

Oh, that you would know your identity in Jesus Christ

For instance, his divine power has granted to us

All things pertaining to life and godliness

Through the knowledge of him

Who called us to his own glory and excellence

That means by grace we can pray to God with boldness

But unfortunately, when God's Word is pushed aside

Deception rises and confidence in God begins to falter

You become afraid when you hear stories about satanic schemes

However, greater is the One living inside our hearts

Don't be terrified of powers from darkness

Christians, we never walk alone in this world

God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

Is always present with us

Christians, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit

Never undermine the power of the blood that Christ shed

Never underrate the power of the cross that he carried

When he declares that you're free

You're free indeed. For that reason

A Christian can never be demon-possessed

Jesus delivered you totally

He purged you from the power of sin

And its stains thoroughly

He didn't break the bondage of Satan momentarily

The freedom that he gives is eternal, wow

Moreover, there's an existential rift

Between Christ and Satan

There's an irreconcilable separation

Between the Holy Spirit and demons

Holiness and wickedness don't mutually co-exist

Demons will forever never occupy

The same heart inhabited by the Holy Spirit

There's no fellowship between darkness and light

No fellowship between Christ and Satan

Christians, we're the temple of the Holy Spirit

If it were possible for demons to also dwell in the same place

Salvation in Christ would've been impossible

The Bible has no record of a Christian with demons

We only read about evil spirits coming out of unsaved people

They inhabit the hearts of sinners

Of people without Jesus

Whereas everyone who's been washed

By the blood of Jesus is free

Delivered from all demons

Christians are a people set apart by God

May I challenge you to search through God's Word

You won't find any record of demons coming out of a Christian

Evil spirits always come out of the unsaved people

They occupy the hearts of the sons of Satan, the king of demons

How come then some Christians

Seem to manifest demons when prayed for

How is it possible that during exorcism they fall down

Presumably under the power of God

I guess pastors make them fall through divination

For the truth is that we have no account

Of a demon-possessed Christian in Scripture

Granted, Christians may be tormented by demons

Demonic oppression

But that's not the same thing as having demons

Demon-possession

Evil spirits have no room in the hearts of believers

The God the Almighty, the Lord of hosts

Occupies every space

Moreover, Satan and his subjects cannot overpower God

God has him (Satan) on a leash like a dog

He can only act so far as God permits

Therefore, our lives are so secure in the Lord

The devil can't destroy us
