Lyrics
El Shaddai is a Hebrew name that means God the Almighty
The power of Satan, demons, witches
Witchdoctors, or kings of the earth, is so insignificant
Compared to the omnipotent power of God, the Creator
The maker of everything
Including Satan, human beings, and angels
We confess with our mouths that God is all-powerful
But often our lives point to the contrary
For instance, between a child of God
And a Satan worshiper or a witch
Who should be terrified of the other
Between the temple of the Holy Spirit
The person who's not been given the spirit of fear
But God's spirit
And a sorcerer
Who should tremble at the other
Between one inhabited by the Greater One, Adonai
And Satan
Who should be scared of the other
One of Satan's instruments is fear
However, Hebrews 2:14-15 says
Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood
He also (Christ) likewise partook of the same things
That through death he might destroy the one
Who has the power of death. That is, the devil
And deliver all those who through fear of death
Were subject to lifelong slavery
Hence, child of God, don't be afraid
Everything, sorcery, witchcraft, all flaming darts of the evil one
Everything is under the authority of our Father
He's in control over both the good and the bad
Ruling even over the works of Satan
It's hard for our human minds to comprehend exhaustively
That God rules over good and bad things
No wonder some false teachers, messengers of Satan
Refuse to accept this truth
And in so doing, they undermine God's power
That reigns over everything
Nevertheless, Scripture affirms that God's in charge
He's in control even over the works of Satan
God is reigning over everything
It's the Lord who permitted Satan
To strike Job in Job chapters 1 and 2
It's God who determined the extent
That Satan would go in harming Job
Luke 22:3 says that Satan entered Judas
And he betrayed Jesus
However, according to Acts 2:23
Jesus was delivered up and crucified
Killed by the hands of lawless men
According to the definite plan
And foreknowledge of God
Judas willingly chose to betray Jesus
On the other hand, satan entered him
Evil spirits influenced him
But ultimately, Christ died
According to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God
To save his people from their sins
Thus, we may rightly conclude
That God sometimes uses sinners
To accomplish his plans
The sinner chooses willingly to act wickedly
Satan or evil spirits influence the wicked choice
But ultimately, the will of Yahweh prevails
Everything is under the control of Adonai
He is reigning over everything
