I walked into the seaside grill the smell was oh so fine

The menu had a special dish shrimp cooked to a shine

I ordered up a platter with a side of lemon zest

Little did I know my stomach would be put to the test

I started with the cocktail dipped in a tangy sauce

Next came the shrimp scampi I was the seafood boss

The popcorn shrimp was crispy the tempura light as air

With every bite I took I felt I didn't have a care

Shrimp in a taco spicy and pure

Oh it was so delicious couldn't get enough

But now my skin's so itchy this allergy is tough

But then I felt a tingling my throat began to swell

I scratched my arms my face turned red oh this isn't going well

Rushed to the doctor's office they knew just what to do

Said "You've eaten way too much shrimp and shellfish isn't good for you"
