Twenty-four years old what a blessing

And to be honest I ain't think that I would be alive

All these years I would suffer from depression

And many nights I would contemplate my suicide

I was hiding so much pain and resentment

To see my tears you would really have to scrutinize

But it's time for me to tell you my confession

And it's time for me to heal cause I'm bruised inside

Twenty-three was my last year

I was certain I was bound to take my life away
