If one's to invoke the wager proposed by Blaise Pascal one has to justify their hedging of bets

For it seems to me that each choice that one makes is as arbitrary as the other when one considers the options available

For they cannot all be true many beliefs proport to be the one true path

Given their contradictions it's more than likely that they are all false ideas

A vestige left from a time when we required faith for the things that we could not explain

My proposition is such, one should withhold belief until sufficient reasons to present themselves

If I could invoke a principle that values the simplicity of adopting the default position on the matter of faith

Over positions that suggest a being of infinite complexity was the first cause and thus engage in infinite regression

Why would one still elect to believe in such a being who in all of their omnipresence omnipotence omniscience watches on with indifference
