Between the Increments

An inherent challenge faced by those, who intend to leave their mark upon the earth

Is acceptance of our weight to bear, when stood forthrightly, with eyes wide open and shoulders back

We are all charged with the same, moral obligation to be a beacon of light

To discard the negative aspects of ourselves that prevent the attainment of competence

In an effort to fulfil this goal, we must intend to defeat our former selves

By a process of acknowledging flaws, and enacting change to address the consequence of our inaction

Life justifies itself despite its limitation when collective needs align

There's meaning found within the gaps between the increments of a collective change over time
