Sitting on a porch swing watching some clouds

I know this is the one thing that would make you proud

I know I pulled the short string but as soon as I'm out

I'll stop out for a visit you could show me around

Cuz even on those days when I feel lost and it's hopeless

It's all because of you I always stop to smell the roses

I often get caught in all the pointless commotion

So I just need to take a breath so I can regain my focus

I don't know if they told you but those posies were poisoned

It makes you find a new way to look at our choices

It makes you look at new days like all of them glorious

It makes you look at new things like who would avoid this
