Chance Or Design

By chance or design we have got to where they stand

But even the best laid plans can unravel in mischievous hands

Over the years the fears they'd propagate to keep us in our place

In the war of words these days, some truths unfold, more lies are told

We're living a lie, but there's nothing left to fear

We're running aground, just a shipwreck off the pier

They're telling us now that there's no way out, there's no way out of here

Through intelligent eyes, we'll see right through their lies

Our choices seem clear, but it took so long for us to see

Whilst their fortress is strong it won't fall that easily
