    I don't think anyone ever really wants to die.

    So it begs the question: at what point is the pain so great that you'd rather die than live?

    When does that become the only way out?

    I don't know that any answers could fully encapsulate those feelings, but I do know I've felt them all.

    And loving Jesus while I felt those intense emotions sounded like this for me.

    A cry to be understood, A prayer for grace when I was hurting,

    A hope that God wasn't angry at me for wanting the pain to end.

    And I truly felt such peace as I let the words fall out.

    Writing this song felt like I was letting go of the guilt I held around my mental health

    while opening the door for others' to release theirs as well.
