The warmth and the heat

If I were at home I'd go swimming with mom

We'd break and play card games

My dad falls asleep

During the movie he wanted

All the while

Honest to God when I was 17

I hated my body

And I hated me

I wrote this song thinking I was in love

Now it's rewritten

I'm just thinking of

How I miss home

Miss the tears and the shouts

I miss my family

But I still moved out
