The Lord said

Be not afraid only believe

And you can have power

To do all things expedient in me

Why is it then that we fall

When we're faced with this fear

We listen to the counsel of man

Instead of God's prophets and seers

Faith in Christ is decreasing

But His power is not

People don't realize

The many blessings that they have got

They start to think to themselves

I could do this all on my own

But when you try to do that

You just end up being blown

Blown away, tossed, driven, propelled

With the false doctrine of men

That will leave you feeling burnt out

But there is always hope

For every soul who will believe

When you trust in Jesus Christ

Your burdens he will relieve

And start to rejoice

God has given us a Savior

So we can make a choice

It's the greatest there's ever

So let praise into your voice

As we turn to Him

Our hearts He will hoist

I don't have all the answers

But this I know

That our Heavenly Father loves us

A lot and so

He's provided a plan

That will lift us up when we're low

His commandments

Help us progress and grow

So when you feel down in the dumps

Just believe in Christ

He will lift your spirits, that's the truth

He has given us his gospel

So that we can find hope

With Him, we'll break Satan's ropes

God loves all of His children

He doesn't want us to be lost

As you pray you can feel the Spirit

Like the day of Pentecost

He hears your every prayer

And He answers them with love

A boy named Joseph Smith learned this

When he saw the Father and the Son beloved

They appeared to him

When he prayed with faith that did not waver

He learned that God knew him by name

That truth is something we should savor

I know that if you pray

And ask God if He really is there

You will feel the Spirit testify

That He is very near
