Lyrics
I often think of how your word said were your poetry,
Perfectly written pieces,
Beautifully illustrated amazing masterpieces pieced together by the Master Himself.
I often imagine how much attention to detail you paid,
Every word perfectly weaving beauty and completeness into existence,
The deepness of your mind as you used words to mold time, sentences to hold light,
Verbs to do your bidding and constantly make the sun shine,
How you literally wrote down the oceans and imagined the color blue,
Painted over the blank canvas of the sky and made a beautiful sunset with the hue of your breath yet,
Made your outstretched hand small enough to hold mine.
I imagine your wordplay, you writing down;
Day and night,
Rain and shine,
Dark and light,
Ocean and breeze,
Land and trees,
All made as a couple but yet still all equally complete when I look at your creation, it's clear you took your time,
The way it all connects to give you glory, it's clear you love to rhyme,
Because everything speaks of your glory as if flowing to connect with the next line,
The last time I wrote, I imagined you. Writing down my name,
Fixing a picture perfect story and then writing down again,
It's clear your love is like your ink, liquid flowing endlessly on every page of creation,
Giving life to all your words and bringing colour to the nations,
I think of your love and I think of how much you must love alliteration because in the poem of creation;
The letter, You (U) keep reoccurring, once in beauty, once in wonderful,
Once in unlimited and twice in beautiful, I love that you think of me, of us, as your workmanship,
A proud poet passionate about His perfectly published poetry,
I look to your Word and see references like "Oh it's me"
Your penmanship a testament, a reference, an allegory of a love that has no limits,
No length,
No boundaries,
No breadth,
How you brought life to a poem with just speaking, just breath,
So every breath that I take is a seed of your creativity, so I grow it,
The recreation of creation's first and greatest poet.
I want my existence to be performance poetry, a raw undiluted expression of your heartfelt writings,
My life the musings of a love being of a love God that loves God and wants others to feel the emotion
Of the writer,
My existence a cypher, a well-worded punchline that slaps,
An extension of your mind and will that makes the listener clap,
I am your perfect poetry,
Your words saturated in my biology and the vastness of the beauty of your creation,
Your divine anthology.
