I know this woman lives alone in her apartment

There's pictures on the walls of the people that her heart miss

A daughter and a son and her grandson is her darling

But she can't see her husband since the day that when that bus hit

So many calls and she never gets an answer

Lived for so long just to see her son get cancer

Bible by her side and the TV might be blasting

The weakness in her eyes makes it hard to get what's happening

So blurry she can't write and that used to be her passion

She worries all the time and her friends don't give a rat's piss

Old flowers that have died that she keeps atop the plastic
