A Dark Knight

Lord forgive me

I sought to punish not heal

Now know that's never been my place

And why my fate felt so ill

Put that suit on every day now see it was just a shield

To deflect from wrong doings by fighting wrong with more will

Brute and brawn out in those streets pummelling dirt called it skill

God how could I be so blind I was becoming the grill

That I promised everybody I'd defend from and chill

I had to see the butterfly effect go clap and reveal
