Nightmare

I wake up in the morning, from a dark and frightening dream

Must have been a nightmare, putting these thoughts right in my head

As the night is closing in now, there's storm clouds overhead, my mind is filled with dread

I'm dreading when the dark falls, my heart begins to pound now

Anxiety is taking over, creatures lurking in my head
