I come from a line of long lost kings

In my past life I was a cruel tyrant, and through hysterical mania fueled by fanaticism ascended to become a god

The other deities despised me and left me in perpetual isolation, left to wander the ether in eternal solitude I struck a bargain with the Almighty

I would forfeit my status as a god and come down to earth as a human to face severe and unusual punishment throughout my life so I could learn to connect in a genuine manner with others while retaining my innate powers

Luckily as part of the deal I was conjoined inseparately with a monk who had chosen to return to earth after reaching enlightenment. He would serve as a guide and teacher, but I would have two alternatives

One to continue my path of destruction or to trust the monk and learn from him, each path leading to a completely different trajectory and neither set in stone. My journey began in a small island, nestled between the waves
