The fog from a distance is a clear indication of the jubilance to come

My heart skips in excitement like a custom officer over a consignment

The smell of the season fills the air as we breathe in the cold dried harmattan air amidst clenched teeth

The cold bites down on my lips as it splits not in hopes of a kiss but for blisters

The cold air brushes across my cheeks and the wind carries the rustled leaves as they rise in excitement like my heart

To the days of road trips to the east as I bounce with excitement from the soon coming feast

The experience of traveling the murky red road of ore as the not so luxurious bus dances a not so luxury dance after going over a pothole

l watched in fascination the large mass of trees on the highways as the breeze slaps my face
