Watching Over Me

I've been known to be unsettled, sometimes in sometimes out

Though my roots were not deep enough, you always helped me stand my ground

Looking back over my life at all the things you brought me through

The adversary should have took me out but he could not get through you

You're the comfort in my sorrow; you're the hope for my tomorrow

You're an ever present help in time of need

You're the shelter from the storm; you're the fire that keeps me warm

You're an everlasting father to me

You're a mighty strong tower that keeps watching over me

I do my best to keep it together when I feel torn into
