I made that promise when I was 15 to never let go Of putting family ties back together

We were young and had hope

Not knowing what life would be like when we became an adult

Just beat a nigga up without consequences no mo

Not to mention there's addictions that'll get in the way of our goals

Homies ain't your homies no more when your in survive mode

And its hella crazy people change on you even the ones you love most

Man this worlds got me trippin gotta tell you allot bro

Remember when we were younger and had visions of mom being home

Laughing at old memories of the childish things we did alone

Or the times we had walking to 7/11 with the lil bros?
