I talked to god the other day, he said that everything's gonna be straight

He told me keep doing what you do, but don't let nobody distract you mane

At times I had my doubts but I'm sure he knows about the bad days

He said with an impact that's like yours, it ain't gon happen in a day

Wait patiently my nigga, the ones loyal are gonna stay

I know it took time to get you here, but it couldn't happen another way

You were made perfect for the design of a task you have at hand

Keep pushing and stay in tune, promise everything gonna go as planned

Stop ignoring the way you're feelings with healing you'll make a stand

they say Accepting responsibility, is the biggest way to become a man

So I chose the responsibility of raising the consciousness

At times it was hard dealing with the questions of my friends, but I knew if it was meant for them then sure later they'll stop following trends
