Uh the mountains all around me

I look around and see the distance from the time you found me

I put my focus on myself and thinkin more profoundly

Cuz I can't worry bout the problems that are all around me

I got these problems that I'm dealing with 

When I was 7 I ain't picture that it'd be like this

The youth we carried showed our innocence buried beneath

So as I write these thoughts I'm writing down my heart in peace

And writing down these challenges that I had faced with ease 

They always talk about the journey what bout when you leave

There is a start and there's a finish let me feel what's free

Freedom comes with a price that price you cannot see
