COMMON GROUND

Writing down what comes what the pen decides

Burning in my belly like appendicitis

Student of the craft I'm the pen disciple

Read up on my thoughts that the pen deciphers

Put away the fears that I tend to heighten

Dedicate my heart had to fend off titans

Sticking to my walls like a feisty lichen

Now I wait and watch as the psyche ripens

Waddled through the bad and made the best of it

Took what I had a right to what was left of it

Don't know if it's worth it made an estimate

Figured in the end it's worth a test ain't it
