When I was younger, always hated myself

I grew up older, had no one to reach out to help

11 years young, tried to take my own life

Ran to the kitchen looking for the sharpest knife

Looked in the mirror, told myself I wanted to die

7th grade, yeah, thought that I was good

Hell nah, man, she left me for a rook (Yuh)

Down bad on my ass, had to get it on my own

Struggle late at night, crying all alone

Saved myself with a ball and a hoop
