At first we couldn't be sure

But everything we observed was a perfect match

Eight planets in stable orbits

Circling a yellow-white star on the main sequence

And third out from the star, a rocky, blue-white orb

After all our searching, we were finally home

It had been such a very long time

We'd forgotten the feeling of grass on our feet

The sky overhead so big, so blue

The salty spray of the sea, the crash of the surf

The warmth of the sun on our faces
