Shell Shock

Wrapped in battered bandages, a lifeless mannequin, in no man's land, I'm living a life of banishment

High pitch ringing, no frequencies I can manage with, a flash of light like theives in the night

dust in my eyes can't handle it

Acts committed by the devil, through devilish guise

Don't let em dumb it down on you, don't you know that the devil is wise

I can't see through the fog of war, the smoke or the spies

I'm taken over by noises deep in my head, that I despise

I barely made it out, an explosion then all my senses faded out

Then came the rain that drowns, I tilted my face up and opened my mouth

I struggled as the fluids filled up all of my eardrums, my lungs and my throat's numb
