Lyrics
I have loved such a story
Yea, loved such a song
That I fell among flowers
Where I rightly belong
I asked but the spade
To turn over the soil
Where kings had been laid
To rest from their toil
The most of regal of men
Now put off their clothes
Once gilded in glory
And colorful robes
Yet the poorest of men
Wore never a ring
Held never a gemstone
Yet lacked not a thing
Such colorful crowns
That bloomed from their gardens
Yet, no flower grows
Save through failures and pardons
So, tend to the soil
And I pray, tend to me
For I must die of love
That I might tend to thee
