Sitting watching paint dry

Got nothing better to do

Than sit and wonder why

The sky can't always be this blue

I know the days are going by

But I just can't be bothered to move

The day the pigs all up and fly

Is the day I'll leave this god-forsaken room

Sitting staring at the sky

Wondering why it got so grey

And then I start to question why

I ever thought I needed blue skies every day

I know the grass might not be dry

At least the mist will keep the little bugs away

And if I have to go outside

I'll take grey skies over blue paint any day

Wondering how to spend my time

There's gotta be someplace to go

Where I can finally win the race against my mind

I'm not looking for the snow

I just need another mountain to climb

I fear I might just turn to stone

Trying to figure out how everyone is fine

Sitting watching wind blow

Seems to find its way somehow

Time is moving real slow

I fear I'm stuck right here and now

And if the mountain's got no snow

Then at least I'll have my head up in the clouds

How I'll get down I do not know

But I'm sure the paint inside is dry by now
