I woke up

Desperate for water

As my pillow soaked up the last of my drool

And I choked down

Half a glass of water

And I looked up to the moon

I said "How old are you?"

And it said

"But you've been up there

So I choked down

The rest of the water

I said "It can't be true"

"Oh, you'll see soon"

"But you've been collecting craters

"Well some day you'll be covered in them too"

Well I woke up

One day, a hundred years older

Living nearly finished and nothing left to do

And I broke down

With a face all full of craters

And I looked up to the moon

I said "I'll be gone soon"

And it said

"You've got no clue
