Lyrics
Imagine
A bunch of us under comforters tryna run
From my mother because my brother
Cuttin up and she gon punish us
Fee Fi Foin through the hallway wit a belt the size of my brother
Cuz it belong to my dad so the consequence bad
That whoopin comin soon enough I'm mad at waitin
Cuz the punishment get worst when they work in collaboration
Just wash the dishes, I know I'm finished, supreme stretcher
She preachin to me he wear me out it's a team effort
Fast forward I thought I'd never see the end
That whole story had a moral if you see my friend
Them whoopins had me down bad, sting again
Basically after them whoopins I won't ever be beat again
A group of us acting stupid not super studious
Go big or go home either max or miss not the gluteus
Used to just being regular show yo promise or show yo hype
Gettin passed In life ain't like gettin passed in them open mics
In fifth grade I used to talk a lot more than write
I'd bake the older kids till they folded and wanted to fight
Now ten year old me wasn't all the way good wit hands
Plus wit twelve and thirteen years olds man I barely stood a chance
But everyone on the bus was watchin
And most of them was bored so they wasn't gon do nun to stop it
A south kid wit a smart mouth on the west side
And no relation with them cuz this not even where my head lie
I gotta fight em, I gotta win this, they gon respect me
We pushin back and forth the bus driver aint interjecting
I'm in my head like after this they ain't never gon test me
I'm interrupted when right fist connect wit my left cheek
Honestly in awe, the soreness I felt in my jaw
Can't cry in front of them cuz then I for sure done lost
Some niggas broke it up in time for me to get my bag
That was the morning trip, Imma get em on the way back
So the school bus picked us up from 47th and Dan
Drove us over west bout 35 minutes minus a jam
Then after school it picked us back up but later than planned
And then took us all the way back south up on 47th and Dan
The return home trip was the wildest cuz everybody feeling free they outta class
Time to T up or throw hands
And because they had unfinished business givin me hands
We got to 47th and Dan I hopped out and I ran
It's more than one of them so I know it's bound to get ugly
I was bakin both of them so I know they about to jump me
One day my homie Troy caught up to me
"You forgot yo sweater"
He peeped the situation, helped out, and we lost together
Some of my embarrassing moments come during the 5th grade
But I never got suspended, don't know why till this day
I wasn't a bad kid
Just a smart mouth black kid
With a whole lot to say and shaky skills to back it
Them dirty moments made me emerge I got to worm or sum
Causing allat friction it's only right that I burnt sum
All them cuts and bruises couldn't show my mom or concern sum
You only can lose so many times before you learn sum
