Though we may not have inherited the circumstances that we would have hoped for

Life has never been easy

Through the toil and sacrifices of our ancestors

Many advances in human civilization have greatly improved quality of life for all of us

Yet some of the very same tools we now use to improve our lives

Also make life exceedingly more complex and dangerous

Like the Internet and social media AI

I suggest that we all take a break from contemporary life

And travel back in time to revisit some things

That we should not allow to fade in this precarious age

Artist & Ode the hope for you and me

That we get a chance to experience a perfected humanity in this life or another

It's always been a dream not for all but for many especially for our artists

It's a story passing down through time

I hope you'll join in the act of crafting our tale

Unified societal vision that's what we need now

In my life things have not always been easy

In fact they've been quite hard and they've taken a toll

My life is an ode to Eλλas an ode to Avalon & Arcadia

I show you what I can of our times but the reality is actually much more boring

I live my life just like anyone

I put on the old pant legs one at a time as they say

And then I go downstairs to get my first cup of coffee

I work hard and I try to not lose sight of what I am working toward

A better future for myself and the ones I love

During these times when it seems like the end of the world is imminent

I remind myself that it's always seemed that way and we made it through

But this time things seem to be a little different are they?

It seems like they are

We now actually have the means to end life on Earth

And if life on Earth is gone everything that we have ever known will be lost

As though it never happened at all

And for all we know intelligent life may only exist on this planet

It seems far fetched but it's possible

Maybe we're basically the only ones

For intelligence itself to end would be an unspeakable tragedy

It doesn't seem like some of our leaders grasp this

Yet those very same leaders were put in positions of power through democratic processes

So the population is also at fault

I implore you to see that liberal concerns are vital to the future of our survival

Please understand that we are only trying to save it all

It's nothing personal against other ways of looking at things

At the polls I hope you will vote your conscience

There's so much that each one of us can do in our own little worlds

I dedicate this work to you doing what you can

I hope that you'll continue fighting

I hope that you'll never give up on growth

And trying to turn the tides for a better world because everything we do matters

And we're all in this together in the past the present and the future

It all belongs to us

Let's do what we can to honor that

Though we may not have inherited the circumstances we would have hoped for

Life has never been easy and we might not make it

But if we don't perhaps it's not a complete loss

Because no one ever knows what lies on the other side from this side

Perhaps it's just a dream but please don't misunderstand

We need to do what we can all of us

It's important to have faith though during dark times

That everything's not lost the moment that it ends

Life memories history nature everything

The world will end for each of us and what happens next is the biggest mystery of them all

But while we are alive we should devote our lives to helping turn the wheel of change

Because we're still here today if you're reading this

I hope that there hasn't been a catastrophic disaster but if there has I'm counting on you

I'm counting on you to pull us through

It's not easy but it's a meaningful life and that right there is your blessing
