My oldest is still a fighter, he's learning, growing in spite of

I pray that God would open doors for him

My middle child is Growing fast, plenty to do as a dad

But right now I just wish - I could blow his nose for him

Or say a word for him

And on the day I'm no longer present I pray

They learned my lessons, and my ceiling be the floor for em

Just had a daughter, the 3rd cub of my litter

It's like another arm of love grew specifically just to fit her

As I look in her eyes possibilities give me shivers

The Reality that awaits, both blessing and what will injure

Good and bad, all in all I'm just thankful to walk with them

If I waited for perfection to have joy - I'd die bitter

Thought of a name change, card from the slave trade

Remembering those who came, before by the same name

Endured hell but still here like dried gel

I'm thankful they persevered - buff, they carried that bag well

Endured the strangest things, death notes and sentences

Now we shoot and rock cool Js, they Suffered all kinds of Ls
