In Egypt's land where the Nile flows wide

A just and wise king ruled by his people's side

Osiris was the name of this noble king

With Isis his queen who made his heart sing

He taught mankind to sow and reap

To live in peace and laws to keep

But Seth, his brother, with envy burned

He crafted a chest both fancy and bright

Adorned with gold a dazzling sight

Osiris stepped in trusting and kind

At last she found him near the shore

Trapped in a chest lifeless once more

With magic and love she breathed him anew

But Seth's cruel hand struck again too

He tore Osiris limb from limb

Scattering the pieces far and grim

Yet Isis resolved reclaimed each part

Weaving him whole with her love and art

Osiris rose, eternal and wise

To rule the dead in the starry skies

And Isis with Horus, their vengeful heir

Brought justice to Seth ending despair

Thus the myth endures through time
