Sometimes I feel like I'm all washed up like I got nothing else to give

Like I got the best part of my life behind me & I'm just always going to be chasing a paycheck

Like a got a few friends and they are amazing but I can count them on one hand We've all been down for since forever but I don't know how long they will always hang around

I'm kicking myself but I really feel like life is good

But sometimes you have to take care of yourself

But when life gets me down I turn inward

I try and take care of the most immediate people around

Weather it be helping my sister move into her new classroom or picking up my brother from the airport or mowing my moms yard these are the closest people falling out of my family tree

I'm proud of them all for living their own lives and putting up with me

& of course my wife & kid who have both seen me struggling but have both seen me grow & seen me on the right path of not overshadowing anything but just to be a decent human being

Sometimes that's all you can hope for in the end
