She wakes up every morning with a deep sigh

She gets up out of bed and still wants to sleep

She promises she'll find a way to hold the demons down today

But she learns that it's a promise she can't keep

She lashes out in anger at her loved ones

Unaware of all the hatred in her eyes

Becoming someone they don't recognize

She acts as if there's nothing wrong instead
