I awake at the breaking of day every morning

With sounds of the morning doves welcoming me

The dew on the leaves dripping down to the pavement

Disappears from the ground almost instantly

The warmth of the summer morns help me remember

The times as a child when I just couldn't see

But time helps to develop an appreciation

Of nature's abundance that's completely free

In the eve we reflect on the morning's adventures
