Lyrics
The war chief's log
What does it men to be a man
I don't know really
Is it merely the biology I see when I look down at myself
My thick hairy chest
The tip of my penis
My muscles pumped with iron and the olive in my skin
We become consumed by banter and bullying
The foundation of how we interact with one another
Much like wild apes we swing around distracted and intoxicated
Picking on the weaking and fighting as dumb as toddlers
Finding comradery in our suffering
Is our masculinity defined solely by our lust
Our bodies and sexual organs
We are filled with lust greed and hunger
We can't get enough of it
Our hands glued to our organs at all time
We chase the tail of women and succubi alike
We hunt them like rapid gangs of coyotes stalking prey
And if we cannot find any
We sit static
Rotting away watching from our screens
Jerking
The saliva dropping down our mouths
But what amount queer men
Do they even qualify under that umbrella of definition
What about feminine ones
The skinny
The soy's
They don't slot into either
Those they act more girlish
Are they still men
Maybe being a man is none of that really
Maybe its a more noble concept
Something to strive for
Just because you meet those physical requirements
Maybe your not a man
Maybe it's all about the pursuit for greatness
Chasing the highs
Achieving goals
And standing tall and proud at the world you've created
A world you forged with your hands
Those hands filled with bruises cuts and calluses
The townsfolk bowing at your grace
So lucky to be in your presence.
No that doesn't seem right either
Maybe
Maybe it is something to strive for
But rather a positive bundle of traits,
Maybe it is a goal
A man is prideful but he is not arrogant
He leads and follows
He's selfless holding the need of the tribe above his own
He protects the weak
But he is not afraid to bleed
Maybe a good man has to be a little bit feminine
For to be feminine teaches us how to feel
and in tune harness and heal those negative feelings into something positive
I'm not saying men should cry aimlessly
But rather to cry with reason
Cry
Heal
But do not weep in your sadness
Breathe and move on
I guess by those metrics
I'm not really a man
But
I can try
To peruse that
To become masculine
And
Take care of myself
For so long I've indulged in degeneracy
Maybe
It's time to grow up
And start taking care of people
Achieving something bigger then myself
Its time to grow up and become a man
And stop indulging
In these shenanigans under the moon
These shenanigans under the moon
