She speaks

When I'm lost in my observatory

I listen to what she whispers and turn her words into stories

She was lonely, she slowly disappeared

And hid behind the glowing constellations of her tears

Here, in this great lake of shining stars

Sailed by all eyes every time the horizon's dark

Glass trapped sparks, held captive in tiny cores

Before and after the last of the dinosaurs

Third floor, on my scarecrow throne gold sunlight abandons the day

Awaiting the ray of the lighthouse to take me out of my cage

To the lands of the shadow and shade

I awake in a world far out of my cell

My darkstar pearl has come out of her shell

Veins swell, it's futile, pupils begin to dilate

Irises turn to fire, my vertebrae start to vibrate

I'm fighting I can't control it, in the moonlight I'm not human

My feathers are finally growing, I close my eyes and I'm gone
