My sales have dwindled drastically

I have done my best by positioning my business tactically

This was never my dream vocational pathway but that's irrelevant

In so far as it keeps me socio-economically relevant

As my economic sustenance is dependent on humanity's sorrow

Lend me non-returnable gifts that I may not borrow

It's not an easy task to have your livelihood dependent on blight

I need strength to serve professionally as I do not cause plight

I put in a lot of work to get my products right with a chunk of might

Sometimes I fight to hold back my tears upon the image of the perished in sight

I almost quit in an instance when I was called to do a bespoke fitting with a mortician

There lay a promising young life snatched cold and laying stiff as a board, how I wish it was a reckless politician

Melancholic as it is, I remain numb and serve emotionally detached

I've been forced into an introvert though I wish to be socially attached

I'm indifferent when people perish

And the agony of their loved ones, I do not relish

I benefit when persons we cherish perish

Nature is suffering at the hands of a largely inconsiderate population

Hence, I'll be grateful with the divine help of a considerable extermination

With no recourse of survival as colliding with a juggernaut

Travelling to a different realm beyond the reach of an astronaut

The perks of my job include

A simple fight that leads to demise with a sharp devise

A lawful protest that turns provocative enough to lead to a bloodbath

When the diseased are deceased

When carnages lead to massive life damages

May the doctrine of cremation amongst believers be changed to interment

So that as the morgues are filled with bodies

My pocket will be filled with monies

May my request be granted

My price is set on their demise

So let them perish like mice

This is my fervent prayer and pact to the cosmic I present
