But I want you to remember that we are still alike

The times when you are down is a contrast to all good

For if dark times never happened, then how do we know what should

Feel right, wrong, or wonderful it's like an endless game

So remember good times will come if you just wait

Heading towards a lake of grief

Try to look beyond the lake

Something worth fighting for

Build a castle on the thoughts you have

But build it so that it will last

With a foundation, you're willing to stand on

Until the rainy day turns to dawn

The clouds inside your mind will pass

But without rain, you can't have grass
