Lessons learned at lunch tables

We pray to God

That someone is not pregnant

Paying tithe to the church building fund

The foundation for our temples

The lettuce mayo cheese no tomatoes salt pepper vinegar

AND Boars Head turkey

Because God said He will withhold

No good thing from His children

This bench is where we testify

This is a booty shorts fellowship

Where we study ourselves

To show ourselves approved

To be alive

And found holy and whole

In our brown girl bodies
