Each time we dig deep into the Scriptures and put your word into practice even though we know it isn't the only option

Not picking the remote knowing it's hard to click no when the yes button is the only next option

And clicking next won't be an issue when it's just the two of us and our flesh is fully charged; always taking caution

Each day we challenge each other to fear You in continuous pursuit of righteousness

Every moment we take turns to stand our ground when one of us struggles to fight weakness

Accepting to be called cowards, fleeing lust the way a deer runs from a hungry lion

I mean each time our passions are strongly pursuing, faster than a hungry lion

Let your name be glorified, Oh Lion of the tribe of Judah!

The day you graciously present her to me, whole & blameless

The day my lips shake hands with hers in the choir's presence

The day she finds warmth in my embrace, and she desires to spend the rest of her life there

The day my chest becomes the softest pillow her head has ever been laid upon & she rests there

Let your name be glorified, Oh Gracious Father!

The night she doesn't just unlock them but happily hands me the keys & the honor to open her doors

The day she grants me access into her secret chamber, 1 Corinthians 7:4 activated indoors

The day we realize we're expectant and thanking You in appreciation, none of us is reluctant

The day she carries Your blessing, and our appreciation is fully abundant

Let your name be glorified, Oh King of Kings; you alone can never be declared redundant

The day the blessing being carried finally reaches its destination and she safely delivers

The day we begin raising a God-Fearing Generation with our blood flowing within its veins like the rivers

The day we add a number or two to this generation we're raising and of Your holiness they become aware

The day each of them encounters what I said in the first stanza, and they offer a similar prayer

Till the day Christ comes to take us home to forever be with you, God the Father
