I was always taught to be strong

To ignore my sad feelings and not let my emotions control me

But how are you meant to take hold of the major thing that is affecting your sanity

And not let it slip you away into the depths called suicide

I've read books, I've talked to people, I've gone to therapy

And I've realized that, you should not look for an escape in this

I am not looking for an escape in this

I'm just looking for a way to live and survive in the predicament

Not because I don't wanna choose the easier way out

But because I'm tired of letting go

And losing everything that ties me to being a human being
