That means I'm in good company, and if I trust in God, He's gonna come for me

Maybe I might never own a home here, but it doesn't mean my life is all alone here

Maybe life is more than just a mortgage, and if I think it's not, joy I'm gonna forfeit

Maybe there's a place where they can take a man, treat him with dignity and help him with a saving plan

Maybe if I'm steadfast and patient, then I can get some help with a down payment

I know that my credit score is not that great

But maybe I can find a way to rebuild

So maybe I could get a decent interest rate

And maybe with some help, improve my budget skills

And maybe if our leaders can be purposeful

Then there will be more homes that are affordable

Cause it ain't gotta be super fancy, it just gotta be big enough for a family
