Thinking, Feeling, and Doing Lyrics

When I get living by the way I think it's a bad situation I'm in

I think sometimes if it feels good do it but then I feel guilty cause I think it's a sin

One day it's where I'm going that matters the next day it's where I've been

The Bible says there's just one God and God makes all the rules

In fact it says when I disagree I make myself a fool

It says my thoughts are not like His His thoughts are higher than mine

So I believe what the Bible says and it keeps my thinking in line

If I was living by the way I felt I wouldn't be living too well

I'd think one day I was bound for glory the next day I'd think I was going to hell

I'd think I was saved, then I'd think I was lost then I'd think that I just couldn't tell

If I was living by the way I felt I wouldn't be living too well.

The Bible says I'm saved by grace through faith in Jesus' name

In fact it says I'm not just saved I'm kept by grace the same

Jesus says, I paid the price I bought you you are mine

So I believe what the Bible says and it keeps my thinking

And it keeps my feelings in line

Sometimes I do all the things I should, sometimes do as I please

Sometimes I live in service to others and sometimes I live for pleasure and ease

But I know my heart and I know that it's new ever since I first believed

So I get a little bit better each day serving in thought word and deed

The Bible says that Jesus shed His blood to set me free

In fact it says I'm dead in Christ and Jesus lives in me

The Bible says I'm just a branch and Jesus is the vine

So I believe what the Bible says and it keeps my thinking

And it keeps my feelings

And it keeps my doings in line
