She later went on to release her sophomore album 'Nine' on her ninth birthday and plans on releasing a new body of work every year.
Makayla’s most recent Album ‘Ten’ which was released on the 27th of June 2022 delves into the Afro beats music genre and promises to deliver on the high standards we are used to expecting from the child prodigy.
With support from her family, Makayla has been able to strike a balance between her life as a child, school/academic work and her love for music.
